Living on Lockdown
Life as we knew it has drastically shifted. The world beyond our doors is a shadow of its former glory. We are now confined within the boundaries of our homes, forced to adjust to a new lifestyle. The days blend, marked by the pattern of online meetings, streaming media, and eating. We crave for the simple joys that were once assumed for granted: a walk in the park, a coffee with friends, or even just a conversation without a screen between us.
This new existence has created challenges, but it has also unveiled unexpected capacities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more compassionate, more inventive, and more appreciative for the simple things in life. As we navigate this unknown territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are near.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a difficult reality. Every day, you face limitations that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so close, yet it's separated by just a mere six feet.
Sometimes, the burden of those bars feels suffocating. You desire freedom with every fiber of home arrest your being. Every sunrise serves as a constant echo that you're imprisoned.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a spark of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be released. That day might seem impossible, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure of freedom can be a tempting force. Yet, paradoxically, it can even lead to restriction. This happens when the very notion of freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a mechanism for control and oppression.
True freedom demands not only the absence of external constraints but also the cultivation of internal strength. When this inner foundation is lacking, even in a society that preaches freedom, individuals can find themselves ensnared within the boundaries of their own thoughts.
Consequently, the true measure for freedom lies in our ability to break free the constraints that impede our potential, both externally and internally.
